What is love?
What is love? According to a dictionary love is “a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.” but how do we define love? Some of us just use love as just another word in our vocabulary. The word LOVE is gets tossed around more that in it should. It’s way more just a plain word and it can have a lot of meaning. There are many types of love. The love you have for your friends is way different from the love for your family and the love of your life. Friends say I love you to each other constantly like love has no meaning. We use it so much that we just repeat it to everyone. Is that what love really is? A healthy family has love. It’s a different type of love then friends. Family and friends are different. People do so much more for family than friends it’s a natural instinct we were made to always choose family first and put family first and love one another. To love another person is unexplainable. So many mixed feelings. You’re happy one moment, sad the next, then excited then mad. You can go through so many stages in a day. The other person drives you crazy. You know you’re in love when you’re willing to do whatever it takes to please the other person and to make them happy. You love them with all your heart, you always miss them, always want to see the, always want to talk to them, and you always want to be with them. There is nothing more than a mother’s love. In my seventeen years of life I realized that there is nothing more power, nothing greater, nothing more loving than a mother’s love. Being a mother means sacrificing everything for your child, doing whatever it takes to keep your kids happy. A mother carries her child in her for nine months, through those nine months, the mother and the child create a special bond that no one can break. A mother is always going to be there for you and help you any situation. Love can be found in many forms friends love, family’s love, lovers love, and a mother’s love. But in all those forms love is caring for someone else deeply and unconditionally. Love is being motivated to be the best version of yourself that you can possibly be because you are so passionate about the other person. Love is finding someone that brings out the best version of yourself and challenges you to be better. Love is no matter what you have someone to count on. To me loving someone is never stop trying, never stop holding their hand. Love is never looking the other way. Love is when someone get my heart racing. Love is honesty and trust. Love is helping one another. Love is reaching your dreams together. Love is the connection of two hearts, yours and mine. |
